Above the Fold
“Above the fold” is a terminology used by the print world. In my not so humble opinion it does not belong in the web world. Print and web are NOT the same. They have been nor will they be.
If I cannot tell what your business is about just by looking at your website I won’t explore, and nor will anyone else. Well some will. You need to generate excitement.

IE6 Must Die
IE 6 just drives me nuts. The best Christmas present that web designers and developers could receive would be to have that browser just completely disappear from every single computer in the world, and be replaced with a standards compliant browser such as Firefox, Opera or even Safari.
IE 7 still has issues,and I’ve heard that IE 8 does. Come on Microsoft fix it and make it compliant. If you want to add bells and whistles to any future version of Internet Explorer do it with the blessing of that …
These are what really annoy me
Right-click disabled. I love to use it to open new windows or tabs or to search on a key phrases or other information. If you really don’t want something taken don’t put it on the web.
Music or Sound: Unless you are in the business of selling music I hate seeing it on your website. I finally got so tired of it that I now browse without the speakers on. If you have to have it give us the option to listen to it.
